Livestock systems research
One
of the main research programmes of the North-South Centre is "Livestock system research
in support of poor people". In this SDC funded programme Swiss researchers
collaborate with colleagues from international agricultural research centres,
mainly of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research
(CGIAR).
The individual projects contribute towards the
improvement of sustainable land use and human well-being through research on
livestock systems. They cover five thematic clusters (see below).
